Jesse Pirieda: Use chalk and water on the drive to create some tye dye effects. You can also have him use the chalk to create an obstacle course. Pictures of bears for the bear crawl, letters to jump to in order, lines to ride in between. If you have a big enough drive, it can take hours and be educational. Besides, my experience is that 5 year old boys don't sit still long enough to do true arts and crafts. Also try paper airplane making. He did a few of those, too... I did the typing, but most of the words are his. He was about 7 or 8 when we did it, but he'd been doing similar things since he was v! ery small.
