Aldo Decurtis: Most DVRs have an auxiliary coaxial output jack for this purpose. It outputs analog channel 3 or 4 (selectable from the box's menu). You connect that to your VCR input and leave the VCR on that channel (3 or 4) permanently.If your DVR doesn't have the necessary jack, you need to get an RF modulator (see the ref below).
