Matt Tiry: Yes its called the "Task Manager". To get it ethier hold down ctrl alt delete at the same time or right click on your clock and select task manager. You can then select which programs to shut down (might take a bit.)

Torrie Weissenbach: DOwnload process explorer, it's free and will show all running programs. You will probably still need to view properties of each process in order to figure out it's path and know if it's safe to kill.
