PLEASE HELP... MY SON IS 18 MONTHS AND HAS TO GO THROUGH DENTAL SURGERY NEXT WEEK. I AM SO SCARED :(...?

answers 0:HE NEEDS TO GET 6 CAPS DUE TO WEAK ENAMAL THAT CAUSED TOOTH DECAY. THE PROCEDURE IS TAKING PLACE AT THE HOSPITAL AND I AM REALLY WORRIED... DO YOU KNOW OF ANY OTHER BABIES HAVING DENTAL SURGERY SO YOUNG?answers 1:being a dental nurse i have seen so many cases like your son it is unbelievable. they range from problems like mothers feeding there children soft drink in a bottle and wondering why they child is in so much dental pain. weak enamel is not all that common it will come down to dietary habits and how well the child's teeth are looked after. children should begin to visit the dentist from the time they teeth appear! and never share saliva from dummies or anything else with parents or siblings as decay is bacteria which is easily transfered! hope ur little one does ok....answers 2:Well, you shouldn! 't worry nearly as much. also, caps lock may be cruise control for cool, but you still have to steer, babe. Granted surgeries are a bit more risky on children, the people doing said procedures are still professionals who get paid to know what they're doing and do it right. Also 8 years of med school or dental college time.
