I live in an apartment complex that got new owners and they are going to remodel. What are my rights?

Charissa Bichsel: Rights as far as what? They can do work on their building, and in your unit, provided they give proper notice to enter your unit. If you don't have a lease, you have the right to give notice and move.

Catheryn Barringer: What is your problem with the new owner's remodeling their property?Quite honestly, they probably won't remodel your unit until you move out, so there probably isn't anything to be concerned about.

Tomeka Hameen: In what respect? They can do whatever they want to their property. They must just ensure that you are not too inconvenienced. Of course, they could always just not renew your lease when it is up and then you have to leave. You have zero ability to prevent this.
