Wilbur Marksberry: A pure market economy is a system which the invisible hand, demand and supply can move freely to determine price. There is no government intervention or the visible hand whatsoever. It can lead to efficiency, market failure and inequality. Efficiency is a good thing, but the latter two are bad things. The big fish can eat out the small fish. Market failure can lead to economic crisis repeatedly.
