Gertrude Darke: i could say philosophy is extra approximately posing questions and searching the respond to those questions, while many faiths are comparable in that it solutions questions (yet it ought to no longer ask them, it solutions the follower's questions) yet via a sequence dogma and preparation.
Gaynell Pizzaro: Well, Religious Education is about learning about religion (of course), so like Christianity and Sikhism etc. There might be a bit of ethics too - we learned about euthanasia and abortion etcetera. Philosophy is very different. You learn about philosophers, not religion, though it can be tied in with it. You learn theories abou! t why God must or cannot exist, and about the universe etc. You'll probably look at Plato and Aristotle, what they say about morality and civilization.. Thomas Hobbes.. and more modern philosophers, though I've forgotten them lol....Show more
